Fun With Face Detect Effects
Posted by Elizabeth Richardson | Under Changing Images Sunday Oct 26, 2008Now this next online photo editing effect producer is just way too much fun…and the effects created are potentially VERY useful for avatars, badges and could provide a unique website identity too.
Just go to photofunia and upload a picture with a face in it…sounds a bit weird I know…but this fun little effect changes the image around the face to match an effect that you select – like you are one of the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ or it’s ‘your face tattooed on David Beckhams torso’.
Apparently it’s best if the face is looking at the camera but I got some excellent results with just about every photograph that I tried. The end effects are pictured above…it’s well worth a few minutes of fun to upload a picture of yourself and see what happens!
